OOAK Goods isn't run by a large corporation, it's fueled by a passion for ethical trade and a profound belief in sustainable change.
We are Karin and Roger, a husband-and-wife team who first launched the Big Picture Project in 2013 as an official 501c3 nonprofit. With combined experience in humanitarian work and product development, we quickly realized that temporary relief, or "handouts," rarely solved the underlying issue. The deepest, most enduring impact comes from economic stability and dignified work.

This core conviction led us to pivot in 2019 and create OOAK Goods - a mission-based retail enterprise dedicated to cultivating an economy of empathy. We transitioned from a traditional charity model to one based on commerce driven by compassion.

We partner exclusively with fair trade certified organizations to ensure artisans receive a safe job, a fair wage, healthcare, and the other tools needed to thrive self-sufficiently.
