VARIETIES INCLUDE:

CIGAR No 1: Rich, chocolaty, full flavored with a CLEAN finish is how we describe this coffee. In fact it isn’t just for cigar lovers. It is an ideal coffee to pair with food too. The clean finish means that the coffee doesn’t dominate the other flavors in your food or cigar. This is one of our most popular coffees both in the United States and in Nicaragua where is is served in cigar factories and sold in cafes.

HONEY BEAR RESERVE: Honey Bear Reserve, an ode to the artisanal ‘honey’ movement, was the first of its kind born in Nicaragua. Exhibiting this artisanal fruit-curing, Honey Bear is truly a reserve coffee. ‘Honeyed’ refers to the natural coffee drying process. To be clear, there is no honey added. Just below the skin, similar to the best wine grapes, lies a thick layer of fruit surrounding two coffee plant seeds aka ‘beans’. Instead spring water fermentation, the fruit-covered seeds are put in the sun for 7 days of drying. The coffee fruit melts in the sun like honey, curing the raw seeds and infusing a light natural sweetness. When roasted, the sweetness is subtle and the body is big.

CUBAN STYLE: Some 400 years ago, in coffee’s journey from the East to the Americas, its first stop was the Caribbean island of Cuba. Over the centuries, Cuba's cultural labyrinth birthed a beautiful ‘cafecito’ culture. When walking through Old Havana, you will find the ‘cafecito’ bringing together all people in its own way. On every table, on every neighborhood stoop. Cuban Style coffee made its way to Miami in the 1950s and has grown from there. Twin Engine Coffee's Cuban Style is based on 15 years of experience & study. Bold, & Dark roasted. Crafted for making strong, clean coffee that our friends would be proud to drink.

THE ESTATE - DARK ROAST: The Estate is the guiding coffee profile, the classic taste of Nicaraguan specialty from the heritage Arabica varieties and growing region. The top 1% Arabica Caturra, often referred to as Typica here on the farm, is showcased with her grandmother, Bourbon. Together, these coffees demonstrate the beloved Nicaraguan chocolate and citrus with balanced body. With 100% purity, The Estate offers the best example of one of the world’s greatest heritage coffee. Tastes of cacao and rich coffee. The Dark Roast Blend is rich, not burned.
THE ESTATE - MEDIUM ROAST: Truly Balanced
THE ESTATE - BREAKFAST BLEND: our lightest roast perfect for morning

ELEFANTE RESERVE: Creamy, complex, and distinguished. Along the Honduran border, the special Nueva Segovia region is home to the Maragoygpe coffee plant. On a small, third generation farm is one of the few farms in the world where you can still find this big, beautiful, lanky plant. Arabica Maragogype is rare in the world. Even rarer is that it is found on a farm rated with the Cup of Excellence award.  It starts with the coffee plant, Margogype. It is big, beautiful, unruly, and yields few fruits. The Maragogype’s beans are about 2x larger than typical Arabica beans – which is why they’re called Elephant [Elefante] Beans. Each year there is a limited Elefante lot, quadruple selected and roasted to medium.

ESPRESSO: Inspired by Italy, the 100% Arabica espresso has been perfected. Most ‘Italian’ espresso coffees are made with Robusta coffees, a harsher, low-quality coffee. Not ours. This Espresso embodies the culture AND offers the clean, quality of mountain Arabica specialty coffee. From the “Pros”: These medium roast beans make thick crema in espresso and perfectly marry with milk for a rich cappuccino or café. Well-balanced.
